        Cefalu is de dichtstbijzijnde grotere plaats. Cefalu is a larger city in this region.

Een hoge rots, la Rocca, domineert de stad. De 278
meter hoge rots hebben we beklommen. Bovenop staat
de Dianatempel uit de 9de eeuw voor Christus.

A high rock, la Rocca, dominates the city. We climbed
this 278 meter high rock. On top is the temple of Diana
from the 9th century BC.

Bovenop de rots heb je een prachtig uitzicht.  From the top of the rock you have a beautiful view.


Met deze ferry hebben we een uitstapje gemaakt
naar de Liparische eilanden. Deze eilanden zijn
vulkanisch en op onderstaande foto voelt Janny
de hitte die opstijgt.

With this ferry we made a trip to the volcanic Lipardic
Islands. Janny can feel the heat.
 

Op Sicilië zijn veel tunnels en de snelwegen gaan soms over hoge bruggen.
In Sicily there are many tunnels and the freeways have many high bridges.
